A gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height consisting of a keystone with upper corners notched, divided into three sections by a blue Y-shaped device with buff above and scarlet on the flanks, with a Korean taeguk at center in proper colors (red above blue), encircling the base of the keystone is a gold scroll with the motto "KEYSTONE FOR SUPPORT" in scarlet letters.
The unit's home state of Pennsylvania is represented by the keystone, which is symbolic of something upon which associated things depend for support. The blue device dividing the keystone denotes the three rivers of Pittsburgh, which have played a significant role in its history. The unit's Korean service is indicated by the taeguk at center and the scarlet flanks refer to the award of the Meritorious Unit Commendation. The colors buff and scarlet are associated with the Support branch.
